Yesterday we celebrated 51 years since man walked on the moon (on the Western calendar). The good folks at Stand With Us put out this amazing photo to commemorate the occasion. This is the supermoon as seen from the grave of David Ben Gurion, Israel's first prime minister, in the Negev desert. One of my favorite things to do as an Israel tour guide is to go out to see the stars in the desert.
Just what remember what the great tour guide of Israel, Kobi wan Kenobi once said...
Just kidding. Really it's just an excuse to see if anyone has come up with some good nicknames for me (can you tell I miss having people to guide?). So far through the years the best ones I've gotten: Kobi wan Kenobi, Kobi Beef, Jewish Mamba, Kobiyashi and Coach K.
