Earlier this week, Israel launched a nano-satellite - named Dido III - into space. It was manufactured by the Israeli company SpacePharma - the only commercial company with a space research laboratory (besides NASA of course). It was in partnership with Israel's Sheba medical center, making it one of the world's first hospitals to undertake medical experiments in space. The goal is to find a solution using microgravity to the global problem of bacteria's growing resistance to antibiotics, which is expected to kill 10 million people by 2050. The best part about all of it is that the entire science lab is the size of a milk carton.
