Museums Compete for Statue with the Best Bum

The Yorkshire Museum in the UK has been having some fun as everyone has been on lockdown, tourism has ground to a halt and museums have been closed. They have initiated 18 different curator battles in which they challenge museums around the world to send in their nominations for their best object in various subjects from weirdest thing to best egg. The one that has gotten the most attention, however, is the Best Bum competition which started a month ago [for those unfamiliar with British English, a bum is a rear end, or in Yiddish, a tuchis].

Despite an internet search of two hours, the best I could come up with to create an Israeli entry into this hallowed competition, are these two sculptures (photos below) from the Israel Museum in Jerusalem (one of my favorite sites to visit as a tour guide of Israel). Mostly that is because the photos that museums show of their collections are generally from the front. That's where you come in. If you have taken any awesome photos of impressive artistic derrières from Israel (or anywhere else for that matter), feel free to add them to the twitter hashtag #bestmuseumbum.

And if you want to learn more about the contest and see some of the awesome nominations (or just a bunch of behinds) feel free to click on the links below:
