Fortunately, the Menachem Begin Center in Jerusalem is hosting the last of its four part series in English (apologies that I missed the previous classes) on understanding the contemporary Middle East. The last class - at 8:30PM Israel time (1:30PM Eastern Time) on Wednesday, will focus on Israel's current state in the Middle East - with all the challenges, threats and opportunities which that entails. The lecture will be given by Dr. Menahem Merhavy, fellow at the Harry S. Truman Institute for the Advancement of Peace at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
